The Business Group of Automotive Transport Services, GEA, manages the transportation of passengers and cargo for natural and legal persons in Cuba. It has an automotive fleet and physical infrastructure distributed throughout the national territory.

The GEA arises in 2014, it is attended by the Ministry of Transport. It has its legal address at Loma No. 683-A, between Colón and Lombillo, Plaza de la Revolución, Havana, Cuba. It fulfills functions of direction, coordination and control of the 19 companies that comprise it, from 7 addresses and 5 departments.

1971-06-28 Transport Workers' Day is agreed during the First Congress of the National Union of the sector, in which all the existing unions at that time were unified: Transport, Rail and Aviation.
1951-06-29 The Havana Bus Terminal was inaugurated, with the departure of the first Camberra brand bus, bound for Cienfuegos.
1961-06-30 The Consolidated Company of National Railways in Cuba was created.
1985-06-12 Creation of the Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Cuba.
